Mentor

Arms out, eyes intent,
stretching for the next footprint,
she follows my lead.

  1. Great poem from the mentor's point of view. When you know you're being followed, it's easier to step in the right places.

Awe- Mothers are role models and mentors, a high calling. Beautifully stated and illustrated in that sweet photo, too.

  4. What a beautiful piece. It made me want to be a child again. I have fond memories of my childhood ... my mother was a wonderful role model and is now one of my best friends.

  5. I love to see youngsters absorbing and enjoying experiences such as this. The act of teaching children and their learning from you is so rewarding.
