Obit for an Oceanographer

Did I mention the fate of the fearless first mate
who dove into the deep with the best of intentions?
Well, sadly, along with his fidgety nature,
he'd a curious affinity for explosive inventions
and, mingled, this duo of inherited traits
created a splash of unequaled dimensions.

This weeks words: Affinity, fidget, mention.

  7. Talk about 'rocking upon the sea', this one rocks and rolls along quite brilliantly. Needs a good sea-shanty tune to go with it.
